1. CHOOSING THE RIGHT SOLAR SYSTEM
Our solar consultants will review your each of your properties with you and discuss the best system for your investment goals. When analysing your solar solution we will discuss with you:
- the location and installation details of your investment
- the type of tenants this property appeals to
- the financial resources you currently have available to use, and
- your future income goals
2. PURCHASING THE SYSTEM
You can pay cash, redraw or we have various lending methods we can discuss with you, including refinancing your current investment loans with our mortgage partner Green Funding.
3. CHOOSING A POWER RATE PLAN
The Power Rate Plan allows you to select the level of discount you wish to give your tenant from the regulated electricity rate. There are 3 options available to you: 5%, 10% or 20% off the regulated tariff. The greater the discount you provide, the more incentive you offer your tenant to use the daytime solar power. The discount can be changed anytime you change tenants.
4. GENERATING POWER PROFIT
The income you generate from you solar investment is dependent on the amount of power used by your tenants. You will receive the retail rate minus the discount you offer for the consumed power and will receive 8c for the power exported to the grid. We will monitor and bill the consumption and export of your tenant, collect the funds and remit the income minus management fees to your nominated account quarterly. We have clients currently generating a solar investment return of up 25% after fees and depreciation* so the benefits are clear it works!
