IS THERE GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE TO PURCHASE SOLAR?
Yes, all systems under 100kW will receive the Small-scale technology certificates (STC’s) value credited as part of the sale discount. This Government scheme is current however changes or removal are at the discretion of the Government under the Federal Government’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme. This generally saves you around 30% on your solar purchase.
DO I NEED TO BILL THE TENANT?
No, billing will always be in the name of the tenant and abide by the same legislation as other energy retailers.
WHO’S NAME WILL BE BILL BE IN?
Always in the tenants name who bill be billed directly to their address.
WHAT REPORTS WILL I RECEIVE?
As the property owner you will receive a quarterly report outlining kilowatts consumed and exported.
HOW DO I EARN MONEY?
You earn money on the kilowatts consumed by the tenant and those exported to the grid. You will generate a higher return per kilowatt on energy consumed by the tenant than for kilowatts being exported to the grid.
WHO’S CREDIT RATING IS AFFECTED IF THE BILL IS NOT PAID?
The utility bill is billed by an energy provider with over 10 years experience in Australia and thousands of happy customers. All financial responsibility is carried by the account holder, being the tenant.
